Steven Vivas

Steven Vivas joins UnLocal’s Pro Se Plus Project as a Paralegal. Steven is passionate about immigrant rights and advocating for underrepresented communities. Steven previously worked at CARECEN-NY, where he worked as a DOJ Accredited Representative. In his role, he represented immigrants in Long Island from various backgrounds in immigration matters before EOIR and USCIS. He looks forward to working on expanding the Pro Se Plus Project to mobilize community supporters and empower migrants to advocate for themselves. Steven graduated from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a BA in Criminology, a Certificate in Dispute Resolution, and an Honors minor in Latin American/Latino Studies.
