Monica Sanchez Cruz

Monica was a DREAMer and remains a dreamer. Living in Colombia and then Queens, she graduated from Bronx Science and Baruch College, working in publishing and the tech space after becoming DACAmented. She eventually made her way to Brooklyn Law, where experiences such as the Safe Harbor Clinic confirmed she was going to work with and for the communities that raised her. After working in removal defense and with immigrant youth out on The Island, she continues to represent both affirmatively and defensively as a staff attorney at UnLocal.
