Diana Castillo
Diana Castillo is the Community Initiatives and Youth Programs Coordinator at UnLocal. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Diana credits her love and passion for community organizing and advocacy for immigrant communities. Diana holds a B.A. in Journalism from Ithaca College where she co-founded the organization C.O.D.A., the Committee of Decolonial Affairs, and operated the rapid response hotline for the Tompkins County Immigrant Rights Coalition. Prior to UnLocal, Diana served as the Communications Strategist for the international nonprofit, WITNESS, and participated in the 2018 SOA Watch Border Encuentro to facilitate youth-organizing workshops and curate social media campaigns. As Diana continues to work with immigrant communities, she looks forward to creating spaces that spark joy and prosperity.
